Oil and gas companies took over lands of the Lubicon people to get money and everything they need to get richer. From all of this, the lands of the Lubicon people have been tortured by these oil companies which the Lubicon people have no say of how to stop this problem. The oil companies have been cutting down acre after acre and taking down the moose population. The Lubicon people asked the government if they could reserve this land so they can keep their tradition and culture. The Government said no. Later they made an agreement but then the Government withdrew from it before it was finalized.

            It think in the future they will make an agreement that won’t have a government that won’t withdraw from the agreement. I think it would be much more simpler if they actually cared for these people. I think they should give rights and be more caring to their culture.
